Job Summary
The Behavior Specialist is responsible for in conducting, developing, and implementing/ evaluating function-based positive behavior intervention plan plans (PBIP), as well as collaborating with each student’s assigned therapist to align therapeutic goals, IEP behavioral goals and the student’s personal goal. The Behavior Specialist will also complete initial incident report/behavior emergency report and submit in a timely fashion to the Behavior Program Specialist within 24 hours after a behavior emergency. This position currently reports to the Dean of Students.
