What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Floater Teacher Assistant position at Children's Genesis?
Children's Genesis is seeking an experienced energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant. We are a small family oriented center located in Oak Cliff. Our hours of operation are 6:30am-5:30pm to allow our staff to have valued family time. We offer all major holidays off. If you are seeking to join a team of fun educators, amazing students and still have time to enjoy life then we are the place for you! Desired candidate must be able to work 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
Physically demanding job. Must be able to easily lift infants from floor, must be able to place infants in and out of crib without assistance.
· Provide a safe, secure, healthy and fun learning environment
· Create a daily activity plan developmentally appropriate for infants/toddlers
· Maintain daily communication with parents
· Maintain a clean classroom consistent with health and safety standards
· Collaborate with other educators
Skills
· Proven 1 year experience working with infants
·Understanding of child development stages and mild stones
·Diaper changing and ability to read and follow infant feeding schedule
· Certification in child CPR and First Aid
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Infant/Toddler CDA preferred or willingness to obtain
· Must pass a criminal background check'
