- 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Saturday through Wednesday

Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a physically and emotionally safe space that supports children’s emotional regulation and well-being
- Use trauma-informed care practices to respond to distress or behavioral challenges with empathy and consistency
- Provide direct supervision of children at all times, ensuring their safety and engagement in age-appropriate activities
- Help children manage daily routines, including hygiene, meals, recreation, homework and bedtime
- Remain calm and responsive in high-stress or crisis situations
- Use de-escalation techniques and follow established protocols for managing behavioral incidents and emotional outbursts
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, including incident reports, daily communication logs, and observations
- Communicate effectively with other team members during shift changes
- Uphold a structured schedule that includes predictable routines, clear expectations, and consistent boundaries to promote a sense of safety and stability for children
- Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality standards
- Complete initial phone screenings
- Conduct assessment of new clients to ensure client’s meet eligibility of the program
- Complete and review client intake packets, including conducting screenings and gathering necessary client information
- Follow all program policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely client notes, ensuring that all information is accurate, up-to-date, and confidential
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to move objects weighing up to 40 lbs., bend and reach
- Must maintain a clean driving record
- Requires flexibility to work holidays, weekends, weather events, and overnight shifts as scheduled
- Must remain alert for the entirety of all shifts worked
- Must be able to respond quickly and appropriately in emergencies
- Must maintain any training and certification requirements
- Must support the teachings of the Catholic Church and embody our organization’s mission and culture through behavior and daily interactions
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required
Job Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in social services preferred
- Must be able to remain alert and present throughout the duration of assigned shifts, including overnights
- Ability to remain emotionally regulated, patient, and compassionate under stress
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other service providers
- Demonstrated the ability to successfully work as part of a team
- Strong ability to think and act independently
