What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reservations / Admin Assistant position at Children's Discovery Center?
The Reservations / Admin Assistant position will coordinate the bookings for all Discovery Center programs such as Discovery Camps, school groups, birthday parties, workshops and special events. The Reservations / Admin Assistant will work closely with the Director of Education to ensure timely processing of bookings, invoicing and sending confirmations. This position also requires assisting at our reception desk helping with ticket and membership sales. This position is part-time, but opportunities for growth. Work on weekends and holidays may be required.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Assists customers with questions and reservation requests.
· Process all Center bookings, changes and cancellations.
· Manage reservations to ensure all reservations are confirmed and payment received.
· Accurately process deposits and payments.
· Answer phones courteously and efficiently.
· Be knowledgeable and up to date on all Center events and programs.
· Coordinates Center events calendar
· Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
