Job Overview
Perfect for a mom who wants to balance children with work, or someone who needs part time hours. Tuesday and Thursdays are typical work days. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Dental Assistant Certificate is preferred, but not required. Must have had a 3.5 GPA in high school or higher.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Coordinate patient flow within the clinic.
- Support a welcoming environment for young patients.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
- Knowledge of Dental software for managing patient records is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.

This job is a part-time position that is only two days a week between the hours of 8:15am-5:00pm.
