Job Overview
Begin your New Year off with an exciting and fulfilling work opportunity as a Program Assistant in our leisure and activity based Day Program for Adults with Special Needs. Children's Center Programs is looking for team oriented, collaborative, focused individuals who are dedicated and organized to support the continued development and growth of our Program(s) and our Participants. Ideal candidates must have a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of adults who need guidance and positive reinforcement throughout their daily schedules. A High School diploma or its equivalent is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participate in activities such as music and dancing, courtyard, exercise, swimming, social interaction, bowling, shopping, daily visits to surrounding community alliances, and more.
Timely completion of participant related documentation as required per their Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
Maintain collaborative working rapport and communicate effectively with co-workers.
Demonstrate flexibility when requested to assist others.
Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with Program policies and procedures.
Complete our on-site, free orientation and ongoing training requirements set forth by the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
We have both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities open for the Right Candidates.
Full Time = 5 days/week: Hours discussed with Human Resources....
Part-Time must work three days/week: Hours discussed with Human Resources
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
