Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for engaging children in age-appropriate activities while ensuring their well-being and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, including feeding, diapering, and nap time.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth.
- Manage behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support the needs of all children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
- Document daily activities and milestones in each child's development.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is preferred.
- Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies is beneficial.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Background in caregiving, nannying, babysitting, or daycare settings will be advantageous.
