What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Art Instructor position at Children’s Art Classes of Clovis, CA?
Children’s Art Classes of Clovis, CA will be opening this summer.
We are currently accepting applications to fill our Part Time Art Instructor position. We are looking for a certified art teacher with a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience to lead some of our camps this summer and take on classes for our fall curriculum.
All supplies and a full, structured curriculum are provided.
Core classes are small and capped at 13 students per class.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education (or BFA) and teaching certificate preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of in-classroom teaching experience
- Curriculum delivery experience
- Strong classroom management skills

Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work two weeknights and Saturdays
- Teacher may fill in for planned absences or emergencies

- Must be available for travel to receive training May 25 through May 29
- Live Scan and Mandated Reporter Training
