Position Summary: Children’s Aid’s Dunlevy Milbank Center is a community center located in Harlem. The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming locker-room environment for participants and families. This role includes cleaning, restocking supplies, assisting guests, and ensuring locker-room rules are followed.
Essential Duties
Children’s Aid will conduct a prompt and thorough investigation of all allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or any violation of the Equal Employment Opportunity Policy in a confidential manner and will take appropriate corrective action, if and where warranted. Children’s Aid prohibits retaliation against employees who provide information about, complain about, or assist in the investigation of any complaint of discrimination or violation of the Equal Employment Opportunity Policy.
The incumbent is expected to work a schedule, whether in-person or hybrid, as determined by the department's needs to facilitate effective collaboration with the team. This flexibility is essential for maintaining seamless communication, fostering teamwork, and ensuring the smooth operation of the department's processes. The position's requirements are subject to periodic review and adjustment based on organizational needs and changes in work dynamics.

Essential Duties
- Understand and promote the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms, showers, and restrooms regularly.
- Restock towels, soap, paper products, and other supplies.
- Ensure lockers and equipment are in good condition.
- Assist guests with basic questions or locker use.
- Monitor the area to maintain safety, privacy, and cleanliness.
- Report on maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors,
- Follow all health, safety, and facility policies.
- Build positive relationships with all participants.
- Participating in all trainings off and on site.
- Adhere to policy and procedures of CAS Dunlevy Milbank Center.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum HS Diploma/GED. College student; attended some college or has graduated college.
- Ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Dependable and responsible.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
