Assistant Coordinator, Prevention

Overview
Join our dedicated team as an Assistant Coordinator, Prevention, where you will play a vital role in supporting administration and program staff and in managing projects that advance the mission of The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources (the Center). The position supports the Center’s role in the community as the leading resource for alcohol, tobacco, and other drug information, referrals, prevention programming, and recovery support in Bergen County.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Center staff, including but not limited to data management, purchasing, ordering, and online database administration.
• Manages the registration for various programs facilitated by the Center;
• Coordinates mailings, maintains advisory board membership lists, and liaises with Bergen County partners;
• Assist with the management and maintenance of the Center website and social media platforms.
• Maintain and update schedules for the Center programs and activities.
• Manage and maintain records and billing for fee-for-service projects
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with grant requirements, including reports, required trainings, and documentation.
• Assist with the implementation of projects from the Bergen County Higher Education Addiction Prevention Consortium
• Support the coordination of special projects, including the annual conference and other major initiatives, including the continuing education process.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, additional education, and business training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of administrative experience

Skills and Knowledge required:

• Strong computer knowledge and skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
• Data entry and database management
• Must exhibit highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and respectfully with a wide range of individuals.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
