Contractor (Drywall, Paint, Flooring) -1099
Rantoul Illinois & Champaign County
Full‑Time or Part‑Time (30 hrs/week)
We’re looking for an experienced multi‑trade subcontractor to handle fast‑paced residential and commercial turnover work. Must be skilled in drywall repair/finishing, interior painting, laminate flooring installation, and light carpentry/framing.
Work Includes
- Drywall patching, mudding, sanding
- Interior painting & touch‑ups
- Laminate/VPL flooring installs & repairs
- Trim, baseboards, light framing
- Punch‑list and general maintenance tasks
Requirements
- 3 years construction or remodeling experience
- Own tools, transportation, and ability to work independently
- Reliable, efficient, and detail‑oriented
- General liability insurance preferred
Compensation
$22.00- $25.00/hr depending on experience and speed
- Weekly or per‑project payouts
- Consistent work available
