Position Overview: The Office of the President Executive Assistant Board Liaison provides a high level of administrative support to CPNYC’s President and Founder and the board of directors. The ideal candidate will be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting leadership within a developing organization. The ability to interact with Board members and staff in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.
Essential Job Functions
- Partner with the President and Founder to provide executive oversight of all projects and contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance, and timely execution.
- Supporting the Board of Directors and the founders, with meeting minutes, scheduling committees' meetings, collecting and preparing board materials and supporting the executive board and President and Founder with all organizational activities.
- Enhance executive productivity by managing communications, conducting research, preparing executive correspondence and reports, and ensuring the prompt flow of information to support decision making.
- Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel arrangements
- Support President & Founder with strategic communications, organizational strategy, and all other special projects assigned as well ensuring that teams are meeting goals and reports.
- Stands for the executive by attending meetings in the executive's absence; speaking for the executive. Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries and managing the organizations phone system team.
- Collaborates with the development teams to make sure all donor information updated and active.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience as a suite suppport person.
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent years of experience.
- Excellent calendar management skills, including coordinating Board meetings
- Experience working in a non-profit environment
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects, and follow through until completion
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to plan and set goals for the organization
- Ability to work efficiently in a heavy multi-task environment
- Professional oral and written communication skills are a must
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate. The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $75,000 per annum.
