Job Title: Nurse Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary:

Nurse Aides provide compassionate, hands-on care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity. They play a vital role in supporting clients’ physical and emotional well-being while promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, organizing)
• Remind clients to take medications as directed (non-administration)
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
• Follow care plans and document services provided accurately

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (if required by state)
• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or required)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
