Children’s House Montessori School is currently seeking a passionate teacher for one of our mixed-aged classroom
Children in this classroom range from age 2-5. We are a non-profit Montessori preschool program offering all day childcare who has been in business since 1974! Job Duties Include:
- - Effective & strong classroom management skills
- - Help to implement Weekly Lesson Plans
- - Establish clear classroom expectations for children
- - Ability to work well with a team of teachers
- - Implementing curriculum into daily classroom routines
- - Maintaining classroom materials to support children’s interest and development
- -Instructing children both individually and as a group
- - Maintaining respectful parent interactions
- - Physical care of all children including bathroom assistance, meal-time help, & a nap time
- - Delegating tasks to assistant teachers as needed
Qualifications:
- CPR Certification or willingness to obtain
- Abusive Head Trauma training or willingness to obtain
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor's degree in any field preferred but not required
