Job Title: Child Care Aide
As a Child Care Aide, you will play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the development of children in a safe and engaging environment. You will work closely with children of various ages, providing care and guidance while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
What you’ll do
- Supervise and engage with children during activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assist in the implementation of educational programs that promote childhood development.
- Provide individualized care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques to encourage social skills and cooperation among peers.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
Basic qualifications
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
Preferred qualifications
- First aid certification
- Experience in toddler care and infant care
- Background in teaching or caregiving
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies
- Classroom experience or nannying experience
