Infant Room Lead Teacher – Full Time at Children First Child Care Center
Do you have a passion for caring for infants and creating a warm, nurturing environment where babies can grow and thrive? We are looking for a dependable, loving, and motivated individual to join our team as the Lead Teacher in our baby room!
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing attentive and responsive care to infants
- Creating a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Building positive relationships with families and coworkers
- Maintaining licensing and health/safety standards
- Supervising and guiding assistant teachers in the classroom
- Supporting infants’ social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Be prepared to meet the children and parents where they are at in this great adventure we call life
Qualifications:
- Experience working with infants or in early childhood education preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Must meet South Dakota childcare licensing requirements
