Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate childcare staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment for all students. This role involves supporting the needs of the classrooms where needed, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized attention to students, particularly those with diverse learning needs.
Duties
- Assist teachers in implementing educational activities in accordance with curriculum standards.
- Support students in their learning by providing guidance and encouragement, particularly those with disabilities or autism.
- Help maintain an organized and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Facilitate literacy education and math activities, ensuring that all students are engaged and participating.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a supportive educational community.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a childcare center as a floater or teacher is a must.
- Experience working with students who have disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
