Responsibilities
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children of various ages, adhering to dietary restrictions and allergies.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and managing waste according to health codes.
- Meeting individual dietary requirements of children with allergies or religious preferences.
- Ensuring a comfortable, inviting, stimulating, and caring mealtime atmosphere is maintained.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of catering, food industry, menu planning, and food handling is a plus
- Ability to operate in a bustling, child-centric environment where the primary workspace is the kitchen
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in ServeSafe Manager
