Resource Center Specialist

Job Summary:

The Resource Center Associate is responsible for monitoring the security and compliance of group home operations. They observe surveillance cameras to ensure staff and resident safety, verify that drivers adhere to regulations, and intervene in crisis situations when necessary. They are also responsible for documenting and reporting incidents to maintain accountability and compliance; approve daily note documentation; overseer medication administration compliance; [and] report incidents to CEO/President.

SCHEDULE:

• Wednesday 12am - 6 am | Thursday- Saturday 6 pm - 6am
• Sunday - Tuesday: 6 am - 6 pm | Wednesday: 6 am - 12 pm

PAYRATE: $20/hour

Location: Allentown, PA 18106

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security cameras to oversee group home safety and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Ensure that drivers follow all transportation regulations and safety procedures.
• Intervene in crisis situations to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
• Dispatch emergency assistance or additional support when necessary.
• Document and send out incident reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain clear and open communication with group home staff and leadership regarding security concerns.
• Conduct regular checks on security protocols and recommend improvements.
• Support investigations into security breaches or policy violations.
• Data entry

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or crisis management training preferred.
• Experience in security, crisis intervention, or residential care settings preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficient Computer skills required
• Ability to remain seated for long periods of time
• Knowledge of safety regulations and crisis intervention techniques. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
