Court Representative

Summary

A Court Representative will represent the youths in legal settings and ensure their voices are heard during court proceedings. The Court Representative will play a key role in supporting our mission to provide care and stability for vulnerable youth."

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents and reports related to court cases.
• Collaborate with social workers, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for children.
• Conduct research on case law and relevant legal precedents.
• Maintain accurate records of court appearances and case progress.
• Provide updates to families regarding court outcomes and next steps.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to case management as needed.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, law, or a related field preferred.
• Paralegal experience or equivalent legal background is required.
• Strong understanding of litigation processes and legal drafting.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in office software and data entry systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
