We are looking for an excellent Assistant Director to lead the curriculum of our high quality education program at Childcare Center of Saint Charles. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned assistant director to manage a center's classroom programs. You will have access to excellent training and mentorship.
Position Overview:
You will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including in room curriculum, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, social media marketing and inventory management.
Location requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in an Assistant Director or similar management role.
- Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Assistant Director per DCFS.
- A thorough knowledge of IL Licensing regulations (DCFS) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices
- Must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
