Role Description The Architectural Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for designing playgrounds, parks, and related recreational spaces that align with safety standards, accessibility requirements, and client goals. Day-to-day tasks include developing conceptual and detailed designs, preparing construction drawings and renderings, collaborating with sales and project teams, and refining plans based on client feedback and site constraints. The Architectural Designer will coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors, review materials and specifications, and support project documentation throughout the design and installation process. You'll also help develop presentation materials and support our broader marketing and company messaging through Adobe Creative Cloud.
Qualifications
- Recent college graduate, or 1–5 years of professional experience in design, drafting, landscape architecture, or a related discipline
- Working proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp or similar 3D tools is preferred
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop/Creative Cloud or comparable visualization software
- Bachelor's degree or coursework in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, CAD/Drafting Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong spatial reasoning and attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working closely with sales, project teams, and clients
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
