What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher position at Child's First, Inc.?
Child’s First is looking for part-time assistant teachers to work with children ages 6 weeks–2 years old. This position is fast-paced and requires patience, strong observation skills, and a willingness to learn. If you enjoy working with young children and want to be part of a supportive, team-focused environment, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families
- Communicating with children, parents, and staff throughout the day
- Diapering and supporting daily care routines
- Assisting with meals, snacks, and bottles
- Light cleaning duties (wiping tables, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, toy sanitation, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and grow in early childhood
Requirements:
Must complete (or be willing to complete):
- Introduction to the Child Care Profession
- Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care
- Preference given to applicants who have already completed these certifications
