What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Child Neurology Center of Orlando, P.A.?
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to become a part of our team. You will perform routine administrative duties to keep the medical practice running smoothly, while greeting, checking in and getting our pediatric patients and their families prepared for their visit with our providers. After more than 22 years in business our practice is continuing to grow and we need a motivated individual to grow with us. Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform all work duties in English and Spanish
- Provide great customer service to our patients and their families
- Handle various administrative duties in a timely manner
- Guide patients through the check in process. Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and route messages to providers
- Internal and external records management
- Communicate with insurance companies to verify patient eligibility
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Previous experience in medical administrative support is a must, preferably in a pediatrics setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with ability to fill in multiple roles based on need
