Summary:
Handles or assists with a variety of duties for Program Director, including data collection & reporting, academic research, grant seeking & application and administrative duties.
Duties:
- Collects & maintains accurate program data using a variety of methods and submits reports following an established process.
- Collects & maintains directory of funding sources, their requirements, due dates, etc.
- Produces research on a variety of subjects or topics at the direction of the Director of DV Services.
- Assists program staff with understanding their reporting requirements and following through on the same.
- Maintains English & Spanish program records including intake materials, brochures, flowcharts, policies, etc.
- Proveds back-up coverage on a weekly basis and when receptionist is absent.
- Assists with managing donations during the Holiday season and other occasions.
- Handles routine requests for information from a variety of entities & follows through on such requests.
- Actively participates in special projects as they arise to benefit the agency, its clients or the DV Services department.
- Drafts correspondence and memoranda.
Requirements:
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and administrative experience preferred. Possession of an associate degree and commensurate experience may be acceptable.
- Education, experience working with and/or self-study of family violence.
- Ability to examine and summarize academic research using the APA style.
- Able to summarize the differences and similarities between HIPAA & VAWA & able to teach the same to program staff as needed.
- Must be detailed oriented, efficient and organized.
- Requires strong computer and data collection skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
