Infant /Toddler Classroom Aide

4629 Aicholtz Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45244 - Clermont County
Hours: Full time, Year round Availability between 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Hourly Rate: 15.35 per hour
Degree Required: High School Diploma/GED
Additional Requirements: Ability to lift a child weighing 40 pounds. Ability to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid. Pass physical examination, background check, and drug screen, and maintain required Physical/TB screen requirements.
Primary Job Responsibilities: The Classroom Aide is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of a Infant / Toddler classroom.
Preferred candidates will:
- Relate positively with young children and families
- Be passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
- Work cooperatively with other team members
- Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and grow.
- Love children and wish to work in a team-oriented environment
- Meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
- Have knowledge and interest of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
- Have previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred, but not required as training provided
Child Focus is seeking a dedicated early childhood professionals to serve as an Infant /Toddler Classroom Aide
in an Infant Toddler Classroom implementing a research-based curriculum. Duties include set up and maintenance of classroom, engaging with infants and toddlers, diaper changing and fostering learning and growth.
