Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for a Full-time Human Resources Generalist in our Phoenix Office supporting CFSS operations Statewide. CFSS is a behavioral health agency providing in-home and community-based services to children, young adults, and families throughout Arizona.
The Human Resources Generalist is the perfect position for a motivated professional looking for an exciting and rewarding career opportunity working as a valued team member of the Human Resources Team. The HR Generalist will provide support to employees and managers while assisting with a variety of Human Resources functions.
Human Resources Generalist Job Responsibilities:
Support employees and managers with questions regarding company policies, procedures, and general Human Resources matters.
Assist with employee relations, performance management, and employee concerns.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
Coordinate onboarding and off boarding processes.
Coordinate leave administration and employee accommodations.
Partner with leaders and managers across the organization to address employee and HR-related needs.
Apply company policies and procedures consistently while maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws.
Monitor and maintain accurate HR data, reporting, and employee information with HR systems.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate judgment when handling of sensitive employee information.
Great communication skills; ability to communicate to all levels throughout the organization using written, verbal and listening skills to build collaborative relationships.
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and manage time effectively.
Research HR questions and utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify appropriate solutions and determine when additional guidance is needed.
Performing other duties related to the position.
The position will require a variety of skills such as active listening, reading and comprehension, oral and written expression, critical thinking, and problem solving.
Human Resources Generalist Education/Experience Needed:
High school diploma or GED
Related bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Previous Human Resources experience preferred.
Experience with employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, or HR administration preferred.
Experience managing data, reporting and effectively utilizing HRIS, ATS and Payroll software.
Proficiency must be demonstrated in Microsoft Office Programs and Google Workspace.
Human Resources Generalist Requirements
Must be 21 years or older
Valid Arizona Driver's License with an acceptable 39 month driving record
Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance
Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must maintain confidentiality and comply with CFSS policies and procedures.
Must successfully complete required background and employment screening.
