Summary
The IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for researching, developing, implementing, and maintaining software, systems, applications, security, and network configurations. This individual will respond to escalated requests from help desk, troubleshoot, and provide technical support and guidance to users as well as assist in the completion of on-going IT projects. The IT Systems Analyst will aide in the support for system backups and recovery, install patches, updates, and upgrades. This position will perform on-call duties on a recurring basis as part of the operations team. They report directly to the Director of IT.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions

- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
- Troubleshoot issues and outages as it pertains to systems availability for employees
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise
- Improving skills according to industry demands and best practices
- Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests
- Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
- Work with Director of IT to complete projects and assignments
- Administer infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
- Ensures all work is within HIPAA and 42CFR guidelines as it relates to systems deployment and upkeep
- Provide off-hours assistance due to facility service interruption
- Participate in on-call coverage rotation
- Work with established vendor to diagnose and resolve any issues as it relates to their product or contractual work to assist with internal issues
- Install and test computer-related equipment
- Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security
- Other duties as assigned

Salary : $60,320 - $67,600
