Salary Range (final salary offer is based on a number of factors, such as certifications, experience, and more):
$24.25 - $30.45/hour

An additional $0.9615/hour Bilingual Spanish Differential
This position is field based, part-time regular 30 hours per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preference will be given to applicants with Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Psychology, but applicants with Bachelor's are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in providing in-home services to children, adolescents, and their families are also required.
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
- Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Clinics' liability policy. May be required to obtain a Class II California driver’s license.
- Must pass all applicable health, fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearances.
JOB PURPOSE:
The In-Home Outreach Counselor – FPP provides in-home/outreach counseling services and case management for clients/families in the Family Preservation Program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide child risk assessment for possible child abuse and neglect for each child in the FPP at the child's home.
2. Consult the DCFS Child Abuse Hotline as needed and complete report within 72 hours.
3. Collaborate with DCFS/CSWs and Dept of Probation/Probation Officer in a team effort approach.
4. Provide weekly in-home counseling services and/or child follow-up visits (if needed).
5. Provide crisis intervention (3-hour response, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to resolve emergent issues/situations which threaten the stability of the home and/or safety of the child[ren] to remain in the home) via pager and subsequent face-to-face response, as needed and appropriate.
6. On call 24/7 and carry agency cell phone to respond to client, CSWs, and agency phone calls.
7. Provide case management services and link clients to services.
8. Meet productivity and documentation/paperwork expectations.
9. Continuous consultation with manger and relevant supervisors to meet clinical quality expectations.
10. All other relevant duties as assigned.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time (30 hours, benefits eligible)
