What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resource Development Coordinator position at CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP INC?
General Responsibilities:
Carries out the educational program established by the Board of Trustees of CEF Inc. in the USA and overseas.
Assists the CM! Director in the leadership, administration, and development of the Children's Ministries Institute,
providing an organized, quality environment for CMI students. Teaches CM! classes at the request of the CMI
Director. Carries out special projects as assigned by the Vice President of Education.
Realizes the importance of the CEF Culture Points and commits to upholding them personally and in the ministry of
CEF (The importance of Godly leadership at every level, of the spiritual welfare of our workers, of prayer as our
foundation, of evangelizing children, of a clear and Biblical presentation of the Gospel and of a commitment to
excellence, for the glory of God).
Specific Responsibilities:
Administration of CMI
• Assists CM! Director in selecting and supervising the faculty and scheduling classes for CMI.
• Coordinates requests for maintenance, kitchen, and guest services in cooperation with the CMI Director
to ensure the smooth running of CMI.
• Serves on the Academic Committee.
• Assists in the day-to-day functioning of CMI to assure its smooth operation.
• Assists with correspondence relating to CMI.
• Assists with the coordination of CMI graduation exercises.
• Assists with compiling information/documents for on-campus CMI needed for CMI Online.
• Assists instructors and students with technology issues that arise in CML
Student Life
• Assists in providing an organized, quality environment and experience for the students in CMI.
• Assists in overseeing the planning and coordinating of activities that enhance the social and spiritual life in
conjunction with the CMI social coordinator.
• Oversees the management of CM! prayer and worship activities.
• Assists in supervising student affairs according to established policies and regulations, including handling
initial discipline problems.
• Assists in evaluating individual student progress and in helping registrar to make sure students' grades are
established and maintained.
• Spends time with students to promote fellowship and friendship.
• Offers counsel and encouragement to students and staff as needed.
Leadership Training Instructor
• Teaches at the Children's Ministries Institute in the USA and overseas as requested by the Vice President
of Education and the CMI Director.
• Grades assignments and records grades (online and for the Registrar).
• Coordinates, prepares, and teaches subjects as assigned by the CMI Director.
• Tutors and counsels students with professional courtesy.
• Teaches in Instructor of Teachers courses and Institutes in and outside of USA as requested by the Vice
President of Education.
• Participates in the personal and ministerial development of CH full-time workers and volunteer
instructors of teachers.
• Encourages the students and works to meet their needs.
Material Development
• Participates in the development of educational materials as requested by the Vice President of Education
Donors and prayer partners
• Communicates regularly with donors and prayer partners.
• Shares financial needs with support team according to CEF policy- "Ask God and tell His people."
• Expands support team as God gives opportunity.
Conference Workshops & Seminars
Participates in the development and conducting of education workshops at CEF conferences or other venues
as requested.
Mlscellaneous
• Shares a burden and vision for children at every opportunity.
• Works with children at least once a year to keep current with their needs, when possible.
• Seeks opportunities for further training as a continual learner.
• Carries out any other special assignment or activity as requested by the CMI Director and/or Vice
President of Education.
Essential Job Functions:
