LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (LPC)

The Child Development Center (CDC) is currently seeking dedicated professionals for the position of Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Casper, Wyoming beginning August 13, 2026. As an LPC, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to children from birth through twenty-one years of age within a nonprofit developmental preschool setting. This role supports children with developmental delays and disabilities through counseling, therapeutic interventions, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in educational planning meetings (IEP/IFSP). The LPC will also provide services in an affiliated for-profit clinic during designated evening times.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing individual, family, and group counseling services, conducting screenings and assessments, developing treatment goals and therapeutic plans, participating in multidisciplinary educational planning meetings, collaborating with families and service providers, completing extensive documentation, and maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements. Services may also be provided within an affiliated for-profit clinic during designated times.
Minimum Educational/Certification Qualifications: • Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field • Current full licensure as an LPC in the State of Wyoming (no provisional licenses) • Experience working with young children preferred • Knowledge of early childhood development, special education services, and family systems • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary : $68,000 - $70,000
