About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Barksdale Air Force Base, Bossier City, LA 71110. This is a flexible position. No benefits offered at this time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Qualifications: Experience of maintenance functions (e.g., carpentry, installs/repairs all furniture, install of small household fixtures and major appliances). Must be able to work in uncomfortable/awkward positions (e.g., climbing, bending and lifting) and in all weather conditions. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds. May occasionally be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift more than 40 pounds. Must be able to communicate orally and in written format. Must be courteous and exercise diplomacy and tact when dealing with the public. Expected to have no more than two valid customer complaints per quarter. Expected to adhere to fire, safety, and facility security regulations with no more than one violation per quarter. Must maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with other staff members. Show willingness and ability to learn on the job. Completed work will spot checked for adherence to instructions in quantity and quality. Additional objectives and standards will be provided and established locally by the rating official
