Client Services Specialist-CCMS

Position Overview
- The Client Services Specialist works directly with families to determine eligibility for child care assistance, conduct parent interviews, and process enrollment and service authorizations. This role calculates parent share of cost (PSOC), maintains accurate records in the TX3C system, educates parents on program requirements, and responds to inquiries or complaints. The position also reviews client data to identify service gaps, supports continuous improvement of the customer experience, and participates in ongoing training to ensure quality service delivery.
- Conduct parent interviews via phone, in-person, or other virtual platforms.
- Determine eligibility and process enrollment for child care services.
- Counsel parents on selecting quality child care providers.
- Access and calculate parent share of cost (PSOC). Authorize and terminate child care services.
- Maintain accurate computer and paper records using TX3C system.
- Educate parents on their rights and responsibilities.
- Respond to inquiries, complaints, and provide resolution support.
- Analyze client data to identify service gaps and improve customer experience.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance service delivery.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least (3) years of experience in a CCS support position.
- At least one (1) year of full-time experience in child development, child care programs, customer service or social work.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all stakeholders.
- Must be legally authorized to work in US/TX.
- Position subject to successful completion of background checks.
- Must be able to frequently walk, sit, and stand for extended periods.
- Requires repetitive use of hands, as well as frequent reaching and turning.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be physically capable of twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, and stooping
