What You’ll Do
Provide High-Quality Care & Learning Experiences
- Create and implement individualized lesson plans using Frog Street Infant & Toddler curriculum
- Foster secure attachments through warm, responsive interactions using Conscious Discipline
- Support language, motor, and social-emotional development through daily routines and play
- Encourage exploration with sensory-rich, engaging classroom environments
Track Development & Progress
- Observe and assess child development using AIM Assessment
- Maintain accurate documentation and portfolios
- Use data to plan personalized learning experiences and track milestones
Partner with Families
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families
- Conduct two home visits and two parent-teacher conferences annually
- Share daily updates on routines, progress, and milestones
Ensure Safety & Compliance
- Maintain constant supervision in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
- Follow all Head Start and licensing requirements for care routines and health practices
- Complete attendance and required program documentation accurately
Collaborate & Grow Professionally
- Participate in coaching, reflective supervision, and professional development
- Work closely with family advocates and team members to support each child
- Contribute to program improvement and classroom quality initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Caring, patient, and responsive with infants and toddlers
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized and detail-oriented with documentation
- Committed to child development and continuous learning
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CDA or CDC Certification or be enrolled in a degree program and actively working toward completion
- At least 1 year of experience with infants and toddlers preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule: Monday – Friday
Physical Demands:
- Lift and carry children up to 50 lbs
- Sit, kneel, bend, and move quickly as needed
- Supervise indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Exposure to common childhood illnesses and cleaning products
