We are seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist / ERICS Counselor for our Northpoint School to provide Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services/Clinical Services to the students in a non-public school setting as recommended on the student’s IEP.

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist / ERICS Counselor for our Northpoint School to provide Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services/Clinical Services to the students in a non-public school setting as recommended on the student’s IEP.
What You’ll Do
- Develops social, emotional, behavioral and counseling IEP goals to Northpoint Students.
- Provides designated social, emotional, behavioral and counseling services to Northpoint students.
- Collaborates/ consults with school personnel and attends IEP meetings.
- Assists in designing treatment plans and implementation of classroom behavioral management techniques.
- Provides consultation and assistance for teaching staff to help with their student’s emotional and behavioral needs.
- Provides crisis intervention services as necessary.
- Provides assistance to parents to help improve school functioning.
- Maintains clinical charts and completes program paperwork.
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours), Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (subject to change based on client, agency, and school needs)
- This position works on the Northpoint School calendar schedule and receives paid time off based on the holiday calendar.
- A.M.F.T. and A.C.S.W. $64,500 - $67,500
- L.M.F.T. and L.C.S.W. $67,500 - $76,000
- Experience working with children and/or adolescents and their families.
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
- Experience working with a classroom/ academic setting preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior therapy preferred
- Ability to develop reasonable, appropriate and creative methods of engagement.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
- Comfort working with high risk cases.
- MSW, or MA/MS with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Must be eligible to register with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
