Child and Family Consultants, Inc. (CFC) is a private pediatric therapy group, offering Occupational and Speech Therapy services to children. CFC was established in 1993, and has worked with children and their families, private and public schools, and community organizations in the Brevard and surrounding counties. The staff at CFC combine years of hands-on experience helping parents and children and providing child and family centered, evidenced based, innovative therapeutic programs. Our warm and supportive staff provides education and support which allows parents and caregivers to understand their children, while facilitating their abilities to teach their children to learn, play and take care of themselves. We treat a variety of pediatric diagnoses including Developmental Delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Disorders, Cerebral Palsy and other neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office administration tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls as necessary.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently to optimize office operations.
- Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Utilize computerized systems for data entry and management of client information.
- Perform administrative tasks such as proofreading documents and preparing correspondence.
- Assist with various office duties as needed, including managing office supplies and equipment. Experience
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative role is preferred.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in phone systems and office software applications.
- Excellent calendar management skills to coordinate appointments effectively.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
