Child and Adult Psychiatry is looking for Rehabilitation Counselors
Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Counselor is responsible for :
-Educating clients to assist them with Daily Living Assistance such as budgeting, scheduling and medication management and provides case management while in the community.
- Weekly groups
-Enter authorizations/IRPs into Carelon
-Document all sessions in Practice Fusion within 24 hours of providing service.
-Do a monthly progress note on all clients
-Enter authorizations/IRPs into Carelon
-Consult with therapists for clients to keep them up to date on clients progress.
-This position reports to the Rehabilitation Specialist
-Currently PRP sessions are done online and in person. Counselors have one group in person a week and also are expected to see the client off site 1x a month at least
-Arrange for transportation and activities for the Day Program
-Counselors are paid for each client they see and only after the notes are complete.
-Counselors are given the opportunity to do groups and see multiple clients at the same time.
- Counselors must have a valid drivers license, be able to pass a background check and also be able to drive the company van if needed
Child and Adult Psychiatry has PRP sites in both Towson MD and Joppatown MD
Job Types: Contract, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
