What You’ll Do
As a Food Services Division Assistant, you help keep our meal service running smoothly so classrooms can stay focused on learning (and little bellies stay happy). You’ll support meal service during busy windows, organize food and supplies headed to classrooms and off-site rooms, and step in to cover the full-time Food Assistant during break times when needed.

A Typical Shift
You’ll clock in onsite in Altoona on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays and jump into the day’s rhythm. Early on, you’ll get set up for the rush—checking what’s headed where and making sure everything is easy to grab and go. As classrooms hit peak meal time, you’ll move with purpose, keeping things calm, clean, and on track. Between waves, you’ll reset, tidy, and prep for the next round, with occasional coverage when the full-time Food Assistant steps away for breaks.
