Job Summary
We are looking for someone who need a full-time or two people that needs part-time and are flexible with their schedule. We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a positive experience through excellent service and support. You will handle transactions, packing up and sending out food, and maintain a clean and organized restaurant. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service will be essential in promoting our products and enhancing customer satisfaction. Tips are included!
Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with their needs.
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and returns.
- Up-sell products to enhance customer purchases while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Address customer inquiries via phone with appropriate phone etiquette.
- Making sure the food is made correctly and properly handle the food for customers.
Requirements
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Supervising experience is beneficial for potential leadership opportunities within the team.
- Have basic knowledge of food handling.
