Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to oversee activity across the premises and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential hazards, ensure safety protocols are followed, and deter theft or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Perform first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism using conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions effectively.
- Document all security activities through detailed reports, incident logs, and shift handovers to maintain accurate records.
Experience
- Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques enhances effectiveness on the job.
- Training or certification in first aid, CPR, or emergency response is preferred to ensure readiness for medical emergencies.
- Background in military service or law enforcement provides a strong foundation for managing high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of conflict management strategies helps in handling disputes calmly and professionally.
- Experience with security protocols, access control procedures, and loss prevention methods is advantageous.
