Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of individuals entering the facility, verifying credentials and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Enforce access control policies by authorizing entry for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies, providing detailed reports and support as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping for security audits.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems effectively to monitor activity across multiple areas of the property.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness.
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications related to law enforcement or security are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management methods.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding decisively during emergencies or confrontations.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members, law enforcement officials, and the public.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly when necessary.
