The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Chief Operating Officer (COO) administers the Director of National Intelligence (DNI's) vision & direction to the ODNI enterprise providing elite support services including synchronizing policy, plans, procedures, & cross-functional issues that enable the ODNI mission. COO oversees most ODNI business operations, including executive support, human resources, security, facilities, continuity, governance, policies, & information management.

Mandatory Requirements:
Knowledge of IC organizations' missions in order to develop the national-level strategies and policies necessary to support U.S. continuity requirements.
Basic ability to conduct effective project management to include risk management, identification of dependencies, and efficient management of resources to achieve project goals, objectives, and deliverables on schedule and within budget using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Ability to work rotating shifts of 12.5 hours in a fast-paced demanding environment in the event of a crisis.
Basic ability to communicate, both oral and in written, complex information in a clear, concise manner that is targeted to and meets the needs of diverse audiences with different perspectives and objectives.

Contribute to the identification and development of resource requirements and plans in order to effectively support COOP planning and execution.
Assist with the development and dissemination of communications plans and related documentation including contingency plans, operational plans, and other plans that contribute directly to synchronized operations, planning, and exercise support.
Assist with the mission assurance for the IC 24-hour alert and notification warning support function, as well as the collection of information from a wide range of intelligence disciplines for accuracy, deception, relevance, and timeliness for the purpose of alert and warning to include providing updates on fast-breaking intelligence issues and developments to senior customers.
Assist with the coordination of continuity activities with watch officers and operations centers across the US Government to ensure situational awareness of threats, hazards, status of critical capabilities, and readiness levels of personnel and organizations.
Assist in developing, preparing, and presenting senior-level briefings and reports on continuity plans, exercises, and operational and emergency plans tailored to the needs of select audiences.
Assist with the development of training materials and plans related to continuity operations and crisis management; assist in the development and execution of continuity exercises, informational briefings, and training events.
Assist with the assessment and evaluation of continuity strategies and plans, identify issues in a timely manner, and provide recommendations, courses of action, and options to resolve them efficiently and effectively.
Maintain productive working relationships with ODNI staff, other IC organizations, and private service providers in order to effectively respond to COOP issues, and coordinate strategic planning, best practices, lessons learned, programming, and policy issues.
