Chief of Staff KC seeking a Lead Generation Coordinator for a client located within the Kansas City Metropolitan area to serve as a key connection point between the Marketing and Sales teams. This role combines lead generation, customer engagement, CRM management, marketing coordination, and sales support to help move prospects from initial inquiry through the sales process. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with behind-the-scenes coordination.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries received by phone, email, website, referrals, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective customers through thoughtful follow-up, helping move qualified opportunities through the sales process.
- Enter and manage leads and opportunities within the CRM, ensuring customer information, activity, status, and next steps remain accurate and up to date.
- Review and qualify incoming leads, determine appropriate follow-up priorities, and connect qualified prospects with the appropriate team member.
- Conduct outbound phone and email outreach to maintain engagement with prospective customers and re-engage individuals who may not yet be ready to purchase.
- Provide customers and prospects with relevant product information and other resources based on their needs.
- Coordinate appointments and manage scheduling needs.
- Review customer history and purchasing activity to identify opportunities for re-engagement, additional business, and stronger customer relationships.
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns and assist with other marketing initiatives designed to generate awareness, encourage engagement, and support sales activity.
- Prepare and organize customer-facing materials, including sales packets, presentations, product literature, promotional materials, and other resources.
- Keep marketing and sales materials current and readily available for both customers and internal team members.
- Assist with website updates, social media activity, and other digital marketing efforts as needed.
- Manage promotional materials and inventory, including organizing, preparing, and distributing items to customers and Sales team members.
- Coordinate product sample requests and assemble sales kits and other materials to support customer and sales needs.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of trade shows and other customer-facing events, including displays, literature, promotional items, supplies, and shipping.
- Help capture and organize leads generated through trade shows and events and ensure timely follow-up after each event.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, outreach efforts, opportunity activity, and follow-up commitments within the CRM.
- Track lead generation, customer re-engagement, and marketing activity to help identify trends, measure results, and support informed sales decisions.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in lead generation, customer service, business development, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with prospects, customers, and internal partners.
- Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email and conducting proactive outbound follow-up.
- Highly organized with excellent follow-through and the ability to manage multiple leads, projects, and deadlines at once.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate customer and CRM information.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Ability to quickly understand customer needs, ask thoughtful questions, and determine appropriate next steps.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities and follow projects through to completion.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar business applications.
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in creating positive experiences and building lasting relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively while also managing individual responsibilities independently.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
