Customer Account Representative

Chief of Staff KC is looking for a Customer Account Representative to support an established base of returning customers, manage customer orders, and provide dependable, personalized account support.

In this role, you'll become a trusted point of contact for your assigned customers, helping ensure their orders are processed accurately and their questions are handled efficiently. You'll balance relationship management, email communication, order entry, and day-to-day customer support while working alongside a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for an established group of repeat customers, building familiarity with their needs and providing reliable, personalized support.
• Manage ongoing email communication for a portfolio of customer accounts, including drop-ship accounts.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, recognizing the importance of getting the details right for accounts representing significant business volume.
• Help new customers get acquainted with available catalogs and products, transitioning to a more personalized service approach as customer relationships develop.
• Respond to customer questions, provide order-related assistance, and help resolve issues with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Maintain organized customer information and follow established processes to ensure requests and orders are handled appropriately.
• Work closely with a team of customer service professionals to maintain a positive customer experience and encourage long-term customer loyalty.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with general computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when entering orders and managing customer information.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, professional written communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• A dependable, team-oriented work style and the ability to follow established procedures and take direction.
• Ability to work fully onsite.
