A growing Kansas City organization is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support transportation, shipping, inventory, and operational coordination efforts across the business. This role will work closely with vendors, carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure shipments and logistics processes run smoothly and efficiently.
This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and vendors
- Track shipments and resolve transportation or delivery issues
- Schedule pickups, deliveries, and transportation appointments
- Maintain accurate shipment documentation and inventory records
- Communicate with internal departments regarding order status and logistics updates
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and operational reporting
- Support day-to-day supply chain and logistics functions in a high-volume environment
Qualifications:
- 2 years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience working within ERP systems required
- Epicor experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitie
