Your day to day as a Psychologist

As a Full-Time Psychologist, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a dynamic blend of clinical tasks and collaborative efforts with our dedicated team. You will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, develop tailored therapy plans, and engage in one-on-one therapy sessions with clients. Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation will be essential to ensure effective continuity of care. Your schedule will typically run Monday through Friday, allowing you to work during regular business hours while enjoying the flexibility of remote engagements.

Daily activities may also include participating in team meetings to discuss client progress, sharing insights on therapeutic techniques, and receiving ongoing support from senior therapists. You will be expected to stay current with evolving psychology practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the therapeutic journey for our clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of care.

Are you the Psychologist we're looking for?

To thrive as a Full-Time Psychologist, candidates should possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, ensuring a strong foundation in psychological principles.

While you do not need to reside in the state (as the position is remote), being licensed or license-eligible in Louisiana is required. Experience working with clients across the lifespan, including children, will enhance your ability to address diverse mental health needs effectively. Strong communication skills are vital, as you will engage with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Your clinical expertise must be complemented by leadership skills, empowering you to guide therapy teams toward impactful results. A team-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for mental health are essential traits that will help foster a collaborative culture at our Baton Rouge location. While not mandatory, having CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications (or a willingness to obtain them) will be an asset.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology
• Licensed (or license-eligible) in Louisiana
• Experience across the lifespan, including children
• Strong communication, clinical and leadership skills
• CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Team-oriented mindset and passion for mental health

Bonus skills such as 3 years of clinical experience, bilingual proficiency in Spanish, and prior leadership experience can significantly enhance your candidacy.
