As a Director for Compensation and Benefits, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of new compensation and benefit programs and the management and evaluation and review of existing programs.

This position is located in Washington, DC.

Qualifications:

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VIband level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:

  • Applying Federal Human Resources, laws, regulations and policies sufficient to provide technical oversight and direct the activities of subordinate staff in the areas of Compensation and Benefits (i.e. retirement, insurance, injury compensation, or other employee benefits programs).
  • Serving as a technical expert to high-level agency officials regarding a variety of human resource matters, issues, and operations; presenting viable solutions to address management/customer needs and resolving potential problems.

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
