What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Technician position at Chief Fabrication?
Chief Fabrication is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join the Chief team. This position inspects production units in various stages of production to ensure conformance with standards and codes. Compares product with purchase orders and parts lists to ensure correct completion.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set inspection priorities.
- Participate in QA inspector reviews.
- Monitor calibration activities.
- Support implementation of ISO initiative.
- Set First Article inspection priorities – communicate priorities with PC, QE & QM.
Education:
- High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Willing to train the right candidate.
Shift:
- Split Shift: 11:00 AM - 12:00 AM (with an 8-hour work period within this timeframe).
