Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Type: Part-Time to Full-Time
Chickadee Chatter Speech Therapy is seeking a neuroaffirming, family-centered Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team! We provide individualized, nature-based, and play-based speech and language services for children in early intervention, preschool, and school-age settings.

Therapy may take place in-office, in homes, schools/daycares, outdoors, or within community environments, providing flexibility and variety in your clinical approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services across a pediatric caseload
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and educational teams to support carryover and success
- Document sessions and maintain accurate, timely records
- Participate in case collaboration and team communication
- Share your creativity — ideas for program or resource development are highly encouraged and supported!
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Maine SLP license (active or eligible)
- CCC-SLP preferred (CFY applicants with supervision may be considered)
- Experience in early intervention and/or school-based settings
- Interest in nature-based, play-based, or child-led therapy approaches
- AAC experience or interest a plus
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and collaborative mindset

Expected hours: 18.0 – 32.0 per week
