We are a growing Chick-fil-A restaurant in Dothan, AL, seeking a creative & growth-oriented Marketing Manager to join our team. While this position can start as a Part-time role, the successful applicant can grow with us and expand this position into the Full-time Sales & Brand Growth leadership role in our $9M organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow Sales and Influence in our community
- Manage social media & increase engagement with the community
- Build and maintain relationships that help foster growth of sales and influence through in-restaurant & community events, promotions, partnerships, Cow mascot appearances, etc.
- Own and grow our digital sales channels and Chick-fil-A One App
- Lead and grow the Catering portion of our business
- Build and execute our monthly calendar of events, promotions, etc.
- Assist with restaurant operations during peak periods & as needed (for example, help in dining room, front counter, or server over lunch, assist with planning, preparation, & delivery of large catering orders, etc.)
- Most of your time will be spent in the restaurant with the Customers & Team as you plan & execute operations and events.
Performance Expectations
- Develop creative and effective marketing plans that you implement and optimize
- Own the growth of sales through increases in guest count, check average, catering, app usage, etc.
- Relentlessly pursue excellence & demonstrate an ownership mindset in all of our Sales & Brand Growth initiatives
- Motivate yourself, solve problems, and demonstrate a “make it better” mindset that enables continuous improvement & a commitment to growth
- Analyze data, review trends, and develop action plans to enable sustained, above average business results

Experience & Qualifications
- Love our community and the Chick-fil-A Brand
- At least 1 year of creative/marketing/community involvement/advertising experience with measurable results
- Possess creativity, internal drive, & time management skills
- Be an asset to the Team through your example, maturity, and professionalism
- Proficient with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar graphic design programs
- Restaurant experience is NOT required.
Compensation & Benefits
- $17/hour, 15-20 hours per week (up to 35 hours available if customer service/operational role included)

For the future Full-time Sales and Brand Growth Leader:
- Develop annual business/marketing plan appropriately using Chick-fil-A's national campaign and Brand Assets; communicate to the Team, execute the plan, & adjust as needed
- Represent CFA Ross Clark Circle in the community- at community events, speaking engagements, Cow appearances, etc.
- Find, plan and execute profitable ADPs/offsite sales
- Receive & process donation requests or community involvement activities
- Own & grow the catering portion of our Business via food distribution, blitzing, cold calls, Spotlight/CFA One app promotions, etc; prepare & deliver catering orders as needed; work with BOH & FOH Ldrs to plan & execute large catering events; conduct follow up calls with Guests
- Prepare monthly marketing calendar for Team with events, promotions, campaign news, etc.
- Includes 10-20 hours weekly assisting with restaurant operations during peak periods & as needed (for example, help in dining room, front counter, or server over lunch, assist with planning, preparation, & delivery of large catering orders, etc.)
